আমার জীবন ও মনঃ
যখন আমি মনে মনে বলি এই যে পৃথিবী,
আমার যার অন্তর্মধ‍্যে আমি আবির্ভূত যেরূপেই হোক না এই ভাবি,
পত্র, পুষ্প, বৃক্ষ, গুল্ম, বা সর্বোত্তম মানবরূপ, ইত্যাদি হয়েও যেরূপে যাপিত এ জীবন,
ক্ষয় করে চলে শক্তিসকল, অন্তরকরন যার প্রভাবে হয় ক্রমশই ক্ষিন আমার জীবন মন,
তবুও তোমার প্রতি যে প্রেম যে মাধুরী নিয়ে আমি সর্বদাই তোমাতে হই পূর্ণতায় এরূপে মিলিত,
